  • Preorder “Nimue and the Terror King”!

“Nimue and the Terror King” is coming out on Oct. 6! Click here to preorder.

Reviewers on Goodreads have said that it has a “dark Wizard of Oz vibe.”

    Here’s how the story goes:

Sixteen-year-old Brett escapes into fantasy novels to cope with his parents’ divorce — until a one-armed girl appears from the pages of a book he’s reading with no memory of who she is or how she got there.

Before Brett can figure out who she is, they are attacked by a powerful sorceress and the sworn enemy of the mysterious girl, Nimue.

Brett inadvertently transports them back to Nimue’s world, where she remembers who she is: a tribal leader of a persecuted people. She vows to kill the Terror King, the tyrannical ruler responsible for their suffering, by any means necessary.

The only way for Brett to get home is to find the book, which has been taken by the sorceress deep within the Terror King’s capital city. But he can’t get there without Nimue.

Brett must decide whether finding his way home is worth helping Nimue sacrifice millions of innocent lives.

She was the best of them.

A lonely person, but gifted with infinite potential. Like so many others I knew, the best of us are lost with tragedy, with violence, alone; forsaken by all, but those that truly loved them.

I am one of those people who must remember because if I don’t, who will?

I’m currently collecting ARC readers for Nimue and the Terror King.

  • Nimue and the Terror King coming out October 6!

Hello all! I intend to release my YA fantasy ‘Nimue and the Terror King’ on October 6. I’m very excited about this because it is at least four years in the making. You can pre-order the book on Amazon here.

If you’re interested in becoming an advanced reviewer, please visit this link: https://booksprout.co/reviewer/review-copy/view/298001/nimue-and-the-terror-king

Here is a short blurb on what the book is about:

Sixteen-year-old Brett escapes the trauma of his parents divorce by writing fantasy novels in class. But after a mysterious girl with one arm named Nimue appears out of the pages of a book, he suddenly finds a greater purpose in his alienated life.

He is soon whisked away to another world where Nimue’s people are being hunted to extinction by the Terror King, a mysterious ruler of a nearby kingdom.

However, after she declares her intention to destroy the Terror King with ancient magic, Brett realizes that he’s beginning to fall in love with someone who doesn’t mind killing innocent people if they get in the way of her revenge — and he has to decide whether his love is worth the price of reciprocal violence.

  • Working on a new novel

    Hi all!

I’m very excited to be working on another novel. I’m in the first draft stage, but it’s about a bard and focuses heavily on music, travel and romance!

It’s really interesting to me how quickly my life’s priorities can change when I approach things more creatively. I already feel happier than I did before.

In any case, if anybody is interested in excerpts of the novels I’m working on, please let me know. I’m trying to think of a few gimmicks to reward by newsletter subscribers with.

    Thanks again!
